The January transfer window proves to be a time of significant speculation and possible big-money transfers. Several prominent stars find themselves connected to moves out of their current teams. This article explores some of the major figures who could be on the move this month.

This England centre-back has continued to impress for Palace despite a previous transfer to Anfield falling through. As his deal set to run out in the summer, this represents the club's last chance to secure a transfer fee for their skipper. Numerous top clubs, such as City and multiple European giants like Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Barcelona, reportedly be interested. Yet, a January departure is considered unlikely, especially given the coach's dependence on the player.

Brennan Johnson

This Wales winger has found first-team opportunities limited at Spurs this term. Although finishing as the side's top scorer last season, he has begun just a small number of Premier League matches. It is understood the North London club would be open to a sale for the correct price, thought to be in the region of forty million pounds. Additionally, there have been rumours from Spain that he is willing to accept a reduced salary for a switch to Real Madrid.

Marc-André ter Stegen

The experienced Germany goalkeeper finds himself as the third option at Barcelona following the manager Hansi Flick. After fallen out of favour and undergone surgery, a winter exit looks increasingly probable. Villa were initially linked as a potential suitor, but that option now appears off. Instead, clubs from Saudi Arabia and Turkey are thought to be expressing interest in the 33-year-old.

Ivan Toney

The prolific English centre-forward has kept scoring frequently in the Middle East. Coming back to the Premier League might boost his fading hopes of being in the national squad.
